Copper ore is a general term for natural mineral aggregates containing copper, generally composed of copper sulfides, oxides, or other compounds and other minerals.
Copper ore is widely distributed around the world, but copper ores of different genesis have different spatial distribution characteristics. For example, porphyry copper ores are mainly distributed in the Circum-Pacific metallogenic belt and the Tethys-Himalayan metallogenic belt.
The
copper ore processing and production process mainly includes three processes: crushing, grinding, and beneficiation. In the crushing process, three-stage closed-circuit crushing is a modern method suitable for crushing high-hardness copper ores, which can complete the work of ore crushing and partial dissociation, thereby improving the subsequent grinding efficiency; in the grinding process, two-stage one-closed grinding can make the copper ore more fully ground; in the beneficiation process, the more successful new processes that have emerged in recent years are mainly representative of the mixed flotation process.
The first stage: crushing and screening - three-stage closed-circuit crushing
Large pieces of copper ore are evenly fed into the
jaw crusher or the
mobile crushing station (primary crushing) through the silo by the vibrating feeder for coarse crushing; the coarsely crushed copper ore is screened by the vibrating screen and sent to the single-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher (secondary crushing) by the belt conveyor for medium crushing; the copper ore material after medium crushing is sent to the multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher for fine crushing;
The second stage: grinding - two-stage one-closed grinding
The 0-12 mm copper powder screened by the
vibrating screen is evenly fed into the grinding machine for grinding, and screened by the spiral classifier. The unqualified ones are sent to the grinding machine for further grinding;
The third stage: ore dressing - new flotation separation process
The copper powder that meets the requirements is sent to the flotation machine for mixed flotation, and then the obtained copper powder is sent to the dryer for drying to obtain copper concentrate.
