For the selection of jaw crusher, we take the production capacity of 200t/h as an example and select the appropriate
jaw crusher model based on the feed size, discharge size requirements, and equipment budget. Common models include PE series (primary crushing) and
PEX series (secondary crushing), such as PE-600×900, PE-750×1060, PEX-250×1200, etc.
Performance characteristics: Jaw crusher has the advantages of a large crushing ratio, simple structure, and convenient maintenance. It can handle large limestone raw materials and crush them to a particle size suitable for subsequent processing.
Crushing process design
1. Coarse crushing stage: Large pieces of limestone raw materials are evenly fed into the jaw crusher through a vibrating feeder for coarse crushing. The main purpose of this stage is to reduce the particle size of the material to prepare for subsequent medium and fine crushing.
2. Medium and fine crushing stage (optional): If the discharge particle size is required to be finer, an impact crusher or cone crusher can be set up for medium and fine crushing after coarse crushing. However, depending on the specific situation, sometimes the discharge particle size can be controlled by adjusting the discharge port size of the jaw crusher, thereby omitting the medium and fine crushing stages.
3. Screening stage: The crushed limestone is screened by a vibrating screen to separate the finished material that meets the requirements and the material that needs to be returned to the crusher for re-crushing.
