Selection principles for coarse crushers
When selecting a coarse crusher, you need to consider multiple factors to ensure that the equipment can meet production needs. Here are some common selection principles:
1. Feed size: The selected crushing equipment must be able to feed the largest block in the feed, so the width of the crusher feed port should be 1.2 times the size of the largest block.
2. Production scale: Select the appropriate coarse crusher model according to the size of the production scale. Large-scale ore dressing plants usually choose gyratory crushers with larger processing capacity, while small and medium-sized ore dressing plants may be more suitable for jaw crushers.
3. Equipment investment and operating costs: Consider factors such as equipment installation power, equipment weight, infrastructure investment, production and operation management fees, as well as equipment maintenance costs and replacement costs of wearing parts.
4. Material properties: Select the appropriate coarse crusher type and parameters based on the hardness, humidity, viscosity and other characteristics of the material.
