What is the HGM micro-powder mill?
HGM series three-ring medium-speed micro-powder mill is named for the design of three grinding rings. It is a kind of fine powder and ultra-fine powder processing equipment. It is mainly applied to the ultra-fine powder processing of non-flammable and explosive brittle materials with medium and low hardness and Mohs hardness ≤6. Such as calcite, chalk, limestone, dolomite, carbon black, kaolin, bentonite, talc, mica, magnesite, barite, gypsum, graphite, fluorite, phosphate ore, and other 100 kinds of materials. The particle size of the finished fine powder is adjustable between 325-2500 mesh (47-5 microns).
Why choose the HGM three-ring grinding mill?
1. High Efficiency and Energy Saving
Under the same fineness of the finished product and the same motor power, the output of the micro-powder mill is more than double that of other mills.
2. Long Service Life of Wearing Parts
Grinding rollers and grinding rings are forged from special materials, which improves the degree of utilization.
3. High Safety and Reliability
There are no rolling bearings and screws in the HGM series mill, which is convenient for equipment maintenance.
4. High Product Fineness
The product fineness of the HGM series ultra-fine powder mill can reach D97≤5μm at one time.
How does HGM grinding mill work?
HGM series micro powder mill consists of the host machine, powder separator, powder collector, dust collector, fan, muffler, soundproof room, crusher, hoist, silo, feeder, and other parts.
When the mill is working, the material falls into the grinding chamber under the action of centrifugal force and is continuously punched, rolled, and ground by the grinding roller. The material after multi-layer crushing is brought into the powder classifier, the high-speed rotating impeller screens it, the unqualified material is reground, and the qualified material is brought into the cyclone powder collector by airflow. The powder with a higher density is discharged by the discharge valve and becomes the finished product. The fine powder with lower density enters the dust collector with the airflow and adheres to the surface of the filter bag. The pulse valve controls the high-pressure airflow to blow out from the inside of the filter bag, the powder attached to the filter bag falls, and the bottom conveyor sends out the materials collected at the two places.
